1. The article is accepted in the Scientific Methodological Journal “Main Issues in Special Education” for the review in case it meets the requirements, that are introduced in the journal or the web-page of the journal: www.specedu.am.
2. Only the carefully reviewed copy of the article is sent to the editorial office, information on the author/s, key words, summary. The electronic variants of the documents are presented on a usb flash or sent to the e-mail: specedujournal@gmail.com.
3. The editor-in-chief sends the article to the member of the editorial council, who is in charge of that scientific sphere.
4. The scientific article should have be reviewed by a specialist of the corresponding sphere, who holds a scientific degree of a candidate or a doctor.
5. The reviewer should look through the article within a week after he/she gets it, and send the reasoned refusal or the review to the editorial office by e-mail.
6. The editorial office recommends to use the standard form for reviewing. The reviewer can recommend the article for publication; recommend for publication after revision, taking the comments into account; not to recommend the article for publication. If the reviewer recommends the article for publication after revision or does not recommend the article for publication, the reasons for the decision should be mentioned in the review.
7. During the review, attention should be paid to the scientific novelty of the research. The review should clearly describe the theoretical and practical values of the research, the author’s conclusions should relate to the existing scientific concepts. The author’s contribution to the problem solution should be one of the essential elements of the reviewer’s assessment. The correspondence of writing style, logic and accessibility to the scientific novelty, as well as honest opinion on the conclusions should be mentioned in the review.
8. After receiving the review, the articles are being discussed and final decision is made, based on the assessment with regard to publication or refusal. A letter is sent to the author via e-mail, letting him/her know about the decision. Overall assessment of the article is introduced, if the article can be published after revision, comments are provided, if the article is not accepted for publication, the reasons for such a decision are introduced.
9. The articles can be sent for additional review.
10. The revised article is reviewed in an established order in the editorial office.
